- Toni-Lee Thompson Added 2017-12-17★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Our kitten went in for shots and to be neutered today. When my boyfriend brought him home he was not given a cone for our kitten so that he would not lick his scar. No one is ever able to watch a kitten full time day and night to ensure he doesn't lick himself after surgery and I am extremely unimpressed with the lack of oversight by the staff on this matter. Furthermore, the kitten came home very rambunctious and trying to jump and run around which is not allowed either, clearly not given the appropriate amount of drugs so that he may rest and heal himself properly. My boyfriend has never owned a kitten so he did not realise these things as he was leaving and I frankly find it disgusting that a veterinary hospital would allow the kitten to leave without doing their due diligence.
